Pathology Grossing Technician – Clinical Labs (Finance)
100% FTE, day shift. Monday through Friday 2:30PM - 11:00PM. No holidays or weekends. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.

We are seeking a Pathology Grossing Technician to:
• Receive specimens and carefully check paperwork for accuracy and completeness, including appropriate documentation of medical necessity.
• Perform routine, uncomplicated surgical dissection procedures on tissue samples. These specimens include core biopsies, small biopsies, bone marrows, curettings, gallbladder, appendix, fallopian tubes, placenta, etc.
• Obtain biological specimens for specialized analysis (flow cytometry, image analysis, immunohistochemistry, etc.) and upon direction of the pathologist perform special procedures.
• Prepare gross tissue sections for frozen section and electron and immunofluorescent microscopy.
