Analyst-Commercial Development, Sr. (Finance)



JOB DESCRIPTION

Primary purpose:

The Commercial Development Analyst will be joining Tallgrass Energy's Unregulated Asset Segment's BNN Water team and will be actively engaged in the evaluation of capital projects and acquisition of companies / assets across the energy infrastructure sector. Reporting to the Managing Director of Unregulated Commercial and Corporate Development, the Commercial Development Analyst will provide analytical and general support for key corporate financial functions, including: (i) financial modeling and (ii) mapping, and (iii) account management .Minimum requirements:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.

Experience/Specific Knowledge:
  • At least 6 years' experience in an Investment Banking, preferably with a focus on infrastructure or project finance
  • Investment Banking experience highly preferred
  • High degree of proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated ability to write effectively
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills

Certifications, Licenses & Registrations:
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record satisfactory to the company and its insurers (for travel).

  • Candidates will be required to clear a drug screen and complete a background check, including a credit report for certain positions after an offer has been extended and prior to being employed.

The salary range for the role is $99,000-$120,000/yr.

  • Financial analysis, valuation, and modeling for both potential acquisitions and capital projects
