Pool Bar Chef (Food Services)
The Pool Bar Chef is responsible for prepping and preparing all food for Latitude 26 Pool Bar. Pool Bar chefs are expected to have a high level of customer service skills, as interacting with our members and guests in our open kitchen is a critical component to the position. This position is Part Time, with full-time hours during Season (Oct 1 – Apr 30) and part time hours in off season (May 1 – Sept 30).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
§ Prep all necessary food and menu items to ensure consistency and a quality product is being delivered.
§ Continuously set and meet goals to ensure guest and staff satisfaction as well as the financial success of the establishment
§ Ensure the highest levels of quality and consistency in food preparation, presentation and service
§ Communicate ordering needs to management
§ Good understanding of useful computer programs (MS office, POS, excel, word, restaurant inventory system)
§ Credentials in health and safety training
§ Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to
Safety and Environmental Responsibilities
Technical and Physical Requirements
§ High school diploma or equivalent required
§ Minimum 3 years' restaurant kitchen experience preferred
§ Appropriate culinary training and certifications preferred
§ ServeSafe certification preferred
§ Customer Service/Hospitality service preferred
§ Ability to stand for long periods of time
§ Ability to bend, stoop, lift, rotate, reach
§ Ability to lift 50 pounds
