Assistant Scheduler - Weekends 2p - 8p (Media)

We are pleased to announce the search for an experienced Assistant Scheduler for our health center and in-home care company, atHome Home Care and Home Nursing. Patient, adaptable, friendly and compassionate individuals who genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships with others will thrive in this role.
This role is responsible for developing, assigning and posting of work schedules for healthcare workers using OnShift scheduling software. By monitoring the schedule on a regular basis and adjusting as necessary, optimal staffing will be achieved. Using the schedule, the assistant scheduler will monitor time-off requests and determine coverage, and monitor timesheets to ensure that payroll reporting is accurate and timely.
Helpful and efficient, this go-to person will serve as an information hub for staff - especially CNAs, care professionals, residents and visitors. Providing support to the administration, including up-to-date census and staffing reports, assistance with new-employee onboarding, and special projects, will help the health center run effectively and efficiently. Some on-call work will be required.
Benefits and Compensation
The pay range for this position is $23.80 to $26.80 and is based on experience. Bonuses of up to 2% of salary are available twice per year, based on performance.

Qualifications

Per the Illinois Department of Public Health, all team members must receive the annual influenza vaccine (exemption requests will be reviewed). We also encourage team members to get the latest COVID-19 vaccine.Previous experience with scheduling in a healthcare environment required.CNA Certification preferred but not required.Experience with Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Outlook and OnShift strongly desired. PointClick Care, UKG and other scheduling software a plus.Must effectively communicate verbally and in writing; attention to detail and problem solving capabilities are necessaryMust possess the ability to deal patiently and tactfully with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public under all circumstances.Must have the ability to build rapport with team members, as well as residents, families and others involved with supporting the resident's well-being.Must abide by ClarkLindseys HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the Employee Handbook.Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action and to remain calm during emergency situations.
