TECHNICAL OPERATIONS MANAGER (Information Technology)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Operations Manager to lead our operational monitoring, cloud engineering, infrastructure, and technical support services. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, ensuring platform stability, and fostering a proactive support culture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud technologies (Azure preferred), Jira Service Management, and proven leadership in managing technical teams. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and optimization in Azure.
• Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based systems.
• Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• Implement and maintain enterprise-class monitoring platforms in DataDog and PRTG.
• Develop proactive alerting and remediation strategies.
• Analyze metrics and trends to improve system performance and reliability.
• Manage on-prem and hybrid infrastructure.
• Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards.
• Lead the helpdesk and support teams to deliver exceptional service.
• Streamline support processes and maintain a robust knowledge base.
• Oversee ticketing workflows and SLA adherence using Jira Service Management.
• Manage and mentor a team of direct reports across cloud, infra, and support functions.
• Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional growth.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 7+ years in IT operations, with 3+ years in a managerial role.
• Deep expertise in cloud platforms ,infrastructure, and monitoring tools.
• Hands-on experience with Jira Service Management for ITSM workflows.
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing technical teams.
• Experience in FinTech or regulated environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with VMware, SAN storage, Linux/Web server platforms.
• Certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect, ITIL, or PMP are a plus.

• In-office presence required three days a week.
