Newman Regional Health Hospital partnered with Mathis Rehab Centers is seeking a full-time Patient Care Coordinator for our clinic located in Newman Regional Health hospital. Ideal candidate will be seeking longevity with a growing company, be a self-starter, should possess excellent interpersonal skills and customer service skills, this is important in order to build relationships with patients and the community in order to provide a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include;
Greet patientsEffectively communicate patients, families, team members, clinicians and all departments.Provides detailed instructions to patients for their visits.Reviews and evaluates patient charts for data entry accuracy.Work as a team to ensure we have an efficient working environment to ensure that calls are made timely to patients and referral sources.Familiarity with Outpatient Rehabilitation/Medical services and medical terminology.Answering phonesPatient registration/data entryScanning/faxing/other clerical dutiesCollecting copay's and patient balancesPatient scheduling-Schedule ManagementPatient Care assistance as neededStrong organizational skillsKnowledge of Insurance benefits
