Global Inventory Specialist (Finance)

The Global Inventory Specialist provides field logistics support and ensures import/export compliance. This role focuses on monitoring and improving warehouse transactions across field locations and the Aurora campus.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assess and monitor warehouse transactions from field locations and the Aurora campus
  • Track inventory maintenance and control equipment flow to ensure proper quantity levels and financial accuracy
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies
  • Train field mechanics in the RAMCO ERP system
  • Coordinate with logistics providers to ensure timely movement of shipments
  • Serve as a liaison between Aurora personnel and field crews to streamline processes and communications
  • Provide on-site logistics support to OSCC and field crews
  • Support import and export processes for aircraft and inventory
  • Manage order fulfillment from the Plan Material Board and track order progress through delivery
  • Monitor and confirm receipt of shipments by field crews
  • Notify OSCC of fulfillment or delivery issues
  • Track serviceable parts recalls and manage resource reallocations from crews to Aurora
  • Process and resolve outstanding "in transit" inventory issues (2018-2024), including $195K in historical shipments
  • Assist in cataloging and identifying ownership of 30+ on-site shipping containers
  • Collaborate with Inventory and Shops to manage unserviceable field returns
  • Ensure proper handoff of materials from aircraft being decommissioned in Aurora
  • Support setup of aircraft-specific warehouses for new contract deployments

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Inventory and logistics knowledge strongly preferred
  • RAMCO ERP system experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office required
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent problem-solving and multitasking capabilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Able to present ideas clearly to various stakeholders
