Workflow Analyst (Information Technology)



Sierra7, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Workflow Analyst to support process design, documentation, and optimization for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Application Packaging for Windows Client Operating System initiative. This individual will analyze current workflows, identify bottlenecks, and recommend process improvements to ensure efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of packaged applications across VAs enterprise Windows environments. This role requires strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills, as well as experience working in IT service delivery and process management environments.

Position Responsibilities:

Analyze and document end-to-end workflows for application packaging, testing, QA, and deployment processes.
Identify gaps, redundancies, and inefficiencies in packaging and QA workflows; recommend process improvements.
Develop and maintain workflow diagrams, dashboards, process maps, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Work with packaging engineers, QA staff, security analysts, and project managers to streamline task handoffs and reduce cycle times.
Ensure workflow processes align with VA policies, compliance standards, and enterprise IT best practices.
Monitor workflow execution and performance metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement.
Support Agile project delivery by contributing to backlog refinement and process-related user stories.
Collaborate with stakeholders to implement process changes and track results.
Provide training and guidance on updated workflows, tools, and documentation as needed.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate workflow analysis findings and recommendations for VA leadership and stakeholders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
