Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Solution Architect – CLM Strategy & Delivery plays a pivotal role in leading the design, architecture, and delivery of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) solutions. This individual serves as both a senior technical architect and a strategic delivery partner across client engagements.
This is a hybrid role, and depending on project scope and complexity, may include responsibilities traditionally aligned to project management or business analysis. The Principal Solution Architect ensures that every implementation is scalable, aligned to client strategy, and delivered with technical and functional excellence. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator and hands-on leader with deep CLM platform knowledge and cross-functional alignment skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Design Leadership
Lead end-to-end design and architecture for CLM implementations across legal, procurement, and sales domains.
Define scalable workflows, metadata structures, clause models, approval hierarchies, and automation logic.
Act as the final approver for architecture and design decisions, ensuring alignment with platform capabilities and business requirements.
Client Engagement & Strategic Delivery
Serve as a senior advisor to client stakeholders, bridging business goals with technical solutions.
Translate discovery and requirements into actionable implementation plans and roadmaps.
Oversee solution integrity through build, testing, and deployment phases.
Support and guide project teams through high-touch, complex engagements.
Platform Integration & AI/GenAI Enablement
Define integration strategies with enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, eSignature, eBilling, and analytics platforms).
Guide the application of AI/GenAI tools for contract extraction, risk scoring, clause deviation analysis, and workflow intelligence.
Ensure master data management and consistent data models across systems.
Practice Development & Standards
Establish reusable architecture frameworks, templates, and design standards across engagements.
Contribute to internal enablement through mentorship, training, and development of solution accelerators.
Partner with sales and pre-sales teams to define solution approaches, estimates, and platform selection support.
Hybrid Responsibilities (as applicable by project)
Project Management: Support planning, execution oversight, resource coordination, and milestone tracking.
Business Analysis: Conduct stakeholder interviews, define requirements, map processes, and validate configuration.
Serve as a flexible resource to ensure project continuity and alignment across phases.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, including 5+ years in CLM solution architecture.
Proven expertise in CLM platforms such as Agiloft, ContractPodAi, Malbek, Conga, Ironclad, or Sirion.
Deep knowledge of contracting workflows, metadata structures, clause libraries, and regulatory compliance considerations.
Strong experience with API-based integrations, middleware tools, data migration, and enterprise security models.
Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
CLM platform certifications preferred. #LI-Remote #LI-RC1
The Compensation range for this role is $120,000.00 to $180,000.00 USD annually and may be eligible for an annual bonus.

Your abilities in relation to the job specification
Performance during screening and interview
Pay parity with the wider team in the considered location
