Administrative Coordinator Sr (Project Management)



This position is for an Administrative Coordinator Sr position with the Academic Success Center. This employee will perform administrative duties and assistant the Associate Provost, which includes, but is not limited to the following duties: 

  • Provides direct support to the Associate Provost of the Academic Success Center by making travel arrangements, assisting with reimbursements, keeping a calendar, setting up meetings and appointments, assisting with various committees and other associated responsibilities. 
  • Acts as a liaison between the Associate Provost and colleges/departments on assigned areas, including policies, hiring processes, program implementation, and special projects.
  • Leads in the hiring, training, and supervision of the clerical staff, student staff, and graduate assistants in the Academic Success Center Administration Office. 
  • Manages and coordinates daily administrative duties and problem solving for the ASC Administration Office. 
  • Coordinates and carries out oversight for Admission and Recruitment events for ASC. This role also oversees major unit events, on behalf of Associate Provost, including Professional Development, First Year Awards Ceremony, and Student Recognition Banquet.
  • Leads committees and organizes representatives across several units across campus to collaborate on student support initiatives. 
  • Oversees and manages the application, selection, training, and development processes for the Student ASC Team members, a group of student volunteers who work to support ASC functions.
  • Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree, AND: 

  • 36 months of related experience.

Equivalency Substitution: Will accept 48 months of job-related experience in lieu of the bachelor's degree, for a total of 84 months related experience. 

Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.
  • Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong initiative to solve problems.
  • Proficient writing skills for drafting correspondence, summaries, and other required reports.
  • Ability to work independently.

  • None

Advertised Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively.
  • Standard office environment.

Supervision:

  • Supervisory Responsibilities for 6 employees.
