AHF Products has a job opportunity for a Scrambler Operator 1st. Shift to be located in West Plains, MO

JOB DUTIES:

  • Starts conveyor that carries lumber to lumber stacker machine.
  • Operates machine by using control panel to keep steady supply of lumber to lumber stacker.
  • Straightens lumber on conveyor for even flow onto stacker.
  • Performs minor repairs and maintenance as required to keep machine in efficient operation.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Flexible and willing to learn multiple roles within the production process.
  • Strong understanding of safety procedures.
  • Ability to read work instructions and labels.
  • Efficient communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as a team and follow instructions.
  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

PHYSCIAL DEMANDS:

  • Continually standing, walking, stretching, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, grasping and repetitive movements.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/ore move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/ore move up to 100 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment and an environment that is usually loud.
  • Work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Climbs stairs to/from workstations.
