Asst Dir Housing Svcs (Finance)



Salary: $80,000

Position Summary:
This position will have oversight of three, residential service desk operations which coordinates electronic access & physical key control for 6,400 residents and serves as a resource for residents. This position will provide leadership to two residential mail operation centers which will process nearly 130,000 packages annually for
residents. This position will collaborate with departmental partners to develop strategies and services that will enhance the residential experience.Minimum Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of four years related exempt experience, including two years of supervisory experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree in College Student Affairs, Business Administration, Public Relations, or other appropriate field. Four or more years working in a university housing setting with progressive responsibilities.
Experience in event planning and/or management, customer service, and staff supervision.

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.

Administration
- Co-leads the coordination of transition events such as fall opening as well as semester & summer session transitions.
- Develop and manage the annual budget and human resources for the Housing Services unit
- Outline strategic initiatives for Housing Services processes, protocols, philosophies, and operations including policy development and implementation
- Response to emergency situations as needed.
- On-call responsibilities for the Housing Services unit
- Plans and leads work of 3 Coordinators and 3 Specialists including setting goals and evaluating performance
- Classified as Essential Personnel as per University policy

Desk Operations
- Plans and directs all aspects of the 3 residential service desk daily operations
- Resolves varied and complex issues
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate student desk clerks.
- Key & electronic access control for all residence hall student access
- Ensure appropriate billing for desk operation's charges
- Ensure a high-level of customer service
- Serve as the system administrator for KeyTrak (physical key access system) and CCure (electronic residential access system).

Mail Operations
- Provides direction and supervises the functional area that receives, processes, and distributes (approximately 130,000 packages annually) for students living in the residence
halls.
- Hire, train, supervise and evaluate student mail clerks.
- Liaison with USF Post Office on any issues involving mail to residents.
- Serve as the primary administrator for the SqBx mail software.
- Resolves varied and complex issues

Professional Staff Access & Accommodations
- Design, manage, and audit key and access inventory for professional staff.
- Conduct and maintain accurate records for the Room Condition Reports, including any appropriate damage billing is report to HRE HR Manager.
- Regularly conduct audits of keys, access, and documents and mitigate any associated risks
