Sr Advanced Project Engr (Finance)



As a Senior Advanced Project Engineer here at Honeywell, you will lead and manage advanced engineering projects, ensuring the successful execution of innovative solutions within the aerospace sector. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Tempe, AZ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the company's ability to deliver cutting-edge aerospace solutions, enhancing operational efficiency and customer satisfaction through your technical expertise and project management skills.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.
  • 6+ years of experience in project engineering or management.
  • Strong knowledge of engineering principles and project management methodologies.

THE BUSINESS UNIT

Mechanical Systems & Components provides a wide range of mechanical products and value-adding services to Honeywell Aerospace customers, including aircraft manufacturers and operators, and agencies of the U.S. government. The business develops and manufactures air and thermal systems, mechanical components, and wheels and braking systems. It also manages and operates facilities for the Federal government. Every 5 seconds, an aircraft lands with Honeywell Wheels and brakes. The entire fleet of U.S military fighters and trainers use Honeywell Cabin Pressure Systems.

  • Lead and manage advanced engineering projects from concept to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements to ensure project success.
