Position Overview:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Supply Chain, as the Dairy Purchasing Agent, you'll be responsible for Trilliant Food and Nutrition and Horseshoe Beverage Company direct physical Dairy procurement at competitive prices consistent with quality, quantity and delivery specifications. You'll be responsible for physical procurement activities including PO generation, cash shortages and overages, resolving supply chain issues, driving cost savings and working capital initiatives. Key involvement in forecasting and communicating accurate material input costs, and supporting contract applications management, risk management and hedging programs. Develops and maintains relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.

Responsibilities:
· Build strategies for assigned materials and services following approved buying programs at competitive prices and ensuring the needs of internal customers are met.
· Build and maintain category and supplier acumen for the enterprise.
· Active participation in ADPI and IFDA
· Oversee activities related to the procurement of Dairy items, from the intent to purchase through delivery of the material.
· Work with Dairy market analysts to understand market trends, synthesis of information and insights with coordination of actions with finance team.
· Ensure implementation of Enterprise Procurement projects within assigned brands/plants.
· Key contributor to set up hedging strategy and contracts for various milk bases for the TFN/HBC enterprise needs.
· Negotiate complex requests for materials or services.
· Prepare contracts, bids, proposals, and vendor agreements for legal correctness, price, and acceptability of items to specifications.
· Create and maintain relationships with internal customers and external suppliers.
· Recruit and maintain suppliers that provide high quality products and services at competitive prices while maintaining the highest code of ethics and conduct.
· Review and resolve vendor claims and contracts in conformance to company policy.
· Support plants to identify and resolve material supply risks.
· Guide data gathering and risk/reward analysis on all purchasing bids and specification change initiatives.
· Deliver an accurate monthly material forecast and effectively communicates changes in material costs and market drivers to internal customers.

Qualifications:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 5+ years of experience in Dairy purchasing or Dairy Supply Chain
· Demonstrated strengths in communication, analytics, project management, and conflict resolution.
· Experience achieving sizable cost savings through strategic cost reduction programs.
· Understanding of market economics, technical issues, logistics, and ability to perform independent value analytics.
· Negotiation and contract-development.
· Understanding of material requirements planning.
· Excel - Intermediate level, PowerPoint, Contract Management, PowerBI

Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works traditional business hours Monday-Friday with off shift and weekend hours as needed to meet business needs at our Neenah, WI manufacturing facility.

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
