Production Scheduler & Quality Auditor (Manufacturing)
The Production Scheduler & Quality Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient scheduling of production operations while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. This position involves auditing materials and products to ensure compliance with customer specifications and adherence to company policies. The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties, however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
Essential Functions:
Demonstrate commitment to safety and perform duties in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
Adhere to GMP guidelines and ensure quality standards are met.
Review individual orders to determine the most efficient production methods.
Maintain a master schedule of manufacturing operations and provide updates as needed.
Track and monitor the status of all components required for production, ensuring availability.
Conduct inspections of production lines and verify the completeness of documentation for finished products.
Keep customer service representatives informed of order statuses and changes.
Be proficient in SAP to convert production orders effectively and accurately.
Make sure all information and special instructions that are necessary to produce the job efficiently and without errors are on the job ticket.
Document and communicate to customer service and discrepancies between specifications as quoted and actual specifications.
Be available to work directly with customers when the need arises and back up Scheduling Manager as needed.
Prepare information for daily production meetings and coordinate outside services as needed.
Independently or with minimum supervision write routine reports, correspondence and prepare various levels of documents and reports.
Represent the Quality Department in a positive and consistent manner.
Follow, train, and enforce company processes and procedures.
Participate and/or facilitate internal/external audits.
Responsible for releasing finished production including verification of all document completeness.
Perform any and all investigations to determine possible reason for variances.
Understand department communication systems, schedules, time/attendance system and job reporting requirements.
Complete required documentation correctly and thoroughly.
Participate and monitor BRC Program.
Assist with COAs and delivery to Customers.
Back up Quality Manager as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors.

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred; understanding of MRP systems and printing/manufacturing knowledge is advantageous.
Experience:
1-3 years in a similar role preferred, with related experience in quality auditing.
