Job Summary

Our Health Solutions business unit is seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Commercial Excellence, reporting to the Sr. Director, Commercial Excellence and Marketing. In this position, you will lead initiatives that enhance sales performance, operational efficiency, and commercial strategy execution. This senior role requires expertise in sales leadership and sales training, as well as a strong background in CRM systems—preferably Salesforce, sales incentive design, and performance management. This is a global role that supports our Health Solutions Commercial team across all geographies worldwide.

Flex Health Solutions is one of 6 business units within Flex's $25B global contract manufacturing portfolio. Flex Health Solutions is expanding its global Commercial organization to accelerate growth. In order to support this more robust sales team, we are also adding positions to our Commercial Excellence team to drive greater efficiency and selling effectiveness.

What a typical day looks like:

Commercial Strategy & Enablement

  • Partner with Flex Sales Operations to design and implement commercial excellence strategies that drive growth, efficiency, and execution across the sales organization.

  • Partner with Commercial leadership and Marketing to translate business goals into actionable initiatives that improve sales productivity and customer engagement.

  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior Commercial leadership.

Sales Training & Development

  • Act as the commercial training lead for the business unit, leveraging experience in creation and delivery of training content to drive results.

  • Lead the development and delivery of onboarding and continuous learning programs for sales teams.

  • Partner with Flex Sales Ops to adapt and deploy core sales training, including Sales Development Framework and Sales DNA, and other general curriculum.

  • Develop and deliver all commercial training specific to the business unit

  • Collaborate with commercial leadership and marketing teams to ensure training aligns with go-to-market strategies.

  • Introduce and institutionalize best practices in selling methodologies and account planning.

CRM Ownership & Optimization

  • Own the strategy, adaptation and deployment of Salesforce CRM for the Health Solutions business unit.

  • Partner with Flex Sales Ops to manage CRM roadmaps and integrations.

  • Deepen utilization of SalesForce across the Commercial team.

Sales Performance & Compensation

  • Partner closely with Commercial leadership to develop programs that drive accountability across the Commercial team to achieve business objectives.

  • Develop and deploy tools to monitor sales performance and monitor metrics, identifying and addressing opportunities for improvement.

  • Provide guidance on quota setting, territory design, and incentive alignment.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of experience in sales, sales operations, or commercial excellence roles, with 3+ years in a leadership capacity and 2+ years of sales training experience

  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce CRM, including customization and use in the field.

  • Strong understanding of sales training, sales enablement, and incentive compensation design.

  • Familiarity with common sales methodologies (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, or SPIN Selling, Solution Selling, etc.)

  • Industry experience in manufacturing or healthcare is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence at all organizational levels.

Pay Range (Applicable to US Remote). Due to this role being remote, the actual pay range will vary depending on the geographical location of the candidate

$153,300.00 USD - $210,800.00 USD Annual
