Pharmacy Technician Night (Healthcare)

We're seeking a Pharmacy Tech II to join a pediatric healthcare team in the Dallas area. This role is part of a hospital-based pharmacy team serving the Emergency Department on a night shift, 7-on/7-off schedule.

Ideal Background

• Minimum 2 years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Completion of a 20-hour IV certification course (ACPE-accredited)
• Hands-on IV compounding experience (at least 1 year) required
• Previous experience in pediatrics preferred but not required

Role Overview

This position supports the preparation and distribution of sterile and non-sterile medications, with a focus on parenteral compounding, medication delivery, and inventory management under the direction of licensed pharmacists. The Pharmacy Tech II plays a key role in maintaining cleanroom standards and handling controlled substances in a high-acuity environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid pharmacy technician registration with the Texas State Board
• Completion of an ACPE-accredited IV training program
• National certification (CPhT) preferred
