Position Overview:
The Document Control Specialist will join the Trilliant Food & Nutrition R&D team to provide ownership and accuracy to the following documents supported by the Research & Development Teams: Ingredient Specifications, Product Formulas, Co-pack Documents, Production Templates/Controlled Documents, as well as be responsible for working with the Commercialization Team in setting up Raw Materials and Formulas. The R&D team is focused on delivering Trilliant Food & Nutrition targets in quality, safety, compliance, profit and growth with attention to customer expectations while following food industry trends in ingredients, products, and processes.
Responsibilities:
· Request and Obtain SQF required documents for New Raw Materials.
· Work with Commercialization to create and set up any New Raw Materials or New Suppliers for Existing Raw Materials.
· Work with the R&D Team to Convert the Approved Formulas into Production Ready Formulas in the form of Production Templates or Controlled Formulas for HBC, TFN, and Co-man Partners
· Work with the Commercialization Team to enter new Formula Bills of Materials (BOM) or update existing BOM's in the ERP System for HBC, TFN, and Co-man Partners
· Support BOM conversion in the ERP system to support efficiency of manufacture or cost savings as needed
· Maintain a Files and Logs for Ingredients and Product Formulas Ensuring proper historical changes, including version control, storage, and retrieval
· Maintain Compliance records and audits to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
· Provide administrative and technical support to various teams within technical services or other departments.
· Maintain or create other applicable data base or spreadsheets of technical information.
· Enter ingredient information and formula information into Genesis Database.

Qualifications:
· 2 Year Science Degree or BSc in a Science-related discipline preferred. 2+ years industry experience in the food, beverage, nutrition or consumer healthcare industry; demonstrated familiarity with FDA regulations, food certifications; nutritional labeling. managing technical matters.
· Experience in quality assurance or product development is desired.
· Knowledge Microsoft Office tools, Genesis, and Dynamics is desirable.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in proof-reading, data entry and managing databases.
· Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
· Strong work ethic, values teamwork and collaboration, interacts with respect, embodies integrity, seeks for and provides coaching to improve performance.
· Good communication and interpersonal skills to present project results and interact within multifunctional team.
· Demonstrated experience in collaborating internal and external, and with cross-functional peers to achieve product commercialization.
· Time and project management skills with demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.

Hours, Location and Pay:
We offer a competitive base pay rate and comprehensive benefits package for full-time employees. This role works standard business hours Monday - Friday at our Neenah, WI manufacturing facility with some occasional travel to our Little Chute, WI facility.

Physical and Mental Demands:
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, hear, use hands to type data, use a personal computer and telephone. This employee may occasionally have to operate business machines and lift and/move up to 50 pounds.
