Role Summary

The Dedicated Well-Being Strategist will support a short- and long-term client-specific organizational well-being strategy. The Dedicated Well-Being Strategist works closely with Client and their stakeholders, the Cigna Organizational Well-Being Strategy team, the Cigna account team, and internal/external matrix partners to support and implement a total population well-being solution.

General Responsibilities (Supporting the Enterprise Benefits Well-Being team and specific functions at the Client office.

Enterprise Benefits Well-being Team:

  • Partner with the client and key matrix partners to develop, implement and evaluate organizational well-being strategy that will educate, empower, excite, and energize large populations in support of a healthy lifestyle.
  • Identify opportunities and develop strategies to embed well-being into the organization's complex workplace environments.
  • Develop, coordinate, communicate, and implement key programs, onsite/virtual events, challenges, presentations, and campaigns.
  • Support development of well-being communications including newsletters, custom communications, emails, and webpage updates.
  • Collaborate to develop, build, engage and provide ongoing support for client well-being champion networks and/or wellbeing committees.
  • Support key program engagement, alignment, and integration with vendor partners.
  • Communicate effectively with Client leaders and stakeholders.
  • Support relationships with Client's third-party wellness vendors.
  • Provide guidance on existing and emerging industry health promotion/well-being trends.
  • Review utilization and engagement data to identify gaps, future enhancements and inform the strategic path forward.

Wellness Center:

  • Perform wellness center responsibilities, including fielding questions, eligibility/waivers, etc.
  • Assist in registering new members and provide orientation to the Wellness Center and general introduction of programs.
  • Assist in opening, closing and or cross shift coverage offacility as part of hours of operations.
  • Instruct employees on the proper use of equipment.
  • Coordinate programs and initiatives supporting wellness strategy; manage program logistics.
  • Assist in gathering metrics, tracking employee program utilization, and assessing program outcomes.
  • Provide an exceptional employee experience through customer service and program driven offerings.
  • Collect program feedback to change and implement future wellbeing offerings.

Qualifications/Certifications

  • 5+ years of experience in strategic well-being program design and implementation.
  • Industry certification such as CHES, Chapman, WELCOA, or worksite well-being programs preferred.
  • Experience working with large national employers, with dispersed workforce.
  • Experience in harmonizing well-being programs across sub-organizations.
  • Experience developing, executing, and evaluating workplace well-being strategy.
  • Experience collaborating with vendor partners.
  • Experience working with employer benefits, human resources, wellness, informatics, and others to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Experience developing holistic strategy across multiple pillars of well-being (physical, social, emotional and financial).
  • Flexible, ability to adapt and meet the needs of various populations.
  • Must be able to build rapport and present confidently to all levels of stakeholders.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certification.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 68,400 - 114,000 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
