Learning & Development Manager (Finance)

CompHealth Allied is looking for a Manager to join our Learning & Development team. The Learning & Development team ensures the most effective training and onboarding experience for our people. In addition, this team develops and facilitates skill-based training for all CompHealth employees. As a Learning & Development Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing new people training and coaching, as well as overseeing the development of CHA sales coaches and trainers.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the end-to-end Learning & Development strategy for the division, with a focus on building sales knowledge, skills, and competencies.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic partner for sales leadership and other key stakeholders to identify and prioritize learning needs.
  • Lead the intake, scoping, and prioritization of the L&D portfolio and backlog based on business needs, performance gaps, and growth opportunities.
  • Design, deliver, and continuously improve high-impact learning programs across onboarding, ongoing development, specialty knowledge, and sales methodology.
  • Manage and develop a team of L&D professionals, including sales coaches, instructional designers, and trainers, providing both strategic direction and hands-on support.
  • Act as a player-coach by contributing directly to program design, content development, facilitation, and enablement tools.
  • Measure and report on learning effectiveness, adoption, and business impact using a data-driven approach.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales Leaders, Marketing, Business Partners, and ER to align training with key initiatives and business priorities.
  • Stay current on industry best practices, adult learning principles, and emerging learning technologies to innovate and elevate L&D efforts.
  • Build and maintain a strong learning culture that promotes continuous growth, performance excellence, and knowledge sharing.
  • Develop and implement sales coaching curriculum for new sales hires and existing sales representatives as needed
  • Hires, evaluates, and terminates personnel
  • Manages and develops the sales coaching department, which includes adhering to employment policies and procedures and implementing corrective action when necessary
  • Present sales training, conduct focus and recognition meetings
  • Develop training materials
  • Provide coaching to new sales hires as well as existing sales representatives
  • Act as a backup trainer for other classes relating to employee development
  • Create training assessment tools such as quizzes and role play

Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to mentor, coach and give and receive feedback
  • Classroom and instructional presence
  • Demonstrated history of successful sales experience
  • Demonstrate competency in My Development
  • Demonstrated competency in MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint, eLearning, authoring tools
  • Able to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Proven organizational skills
  • 2 - 3 years sales experience
  • 2 - 3 years sales training and coaching process experience

We believe in fair compensation for all of our people, which is why our pay structure takes into account the cost of labor across U.S. geographic markets. For this position, we offer a pay range of $81,400 -- $176,000 annually, with pay varying depending on work location and job-related factors such as knowledge, position level and experience. During the hiring process, your recruiter can provide more information about the specific salary range for the job location.

CHG Healthcare offers starting salaries for sales positions in the form of total target compensation (TTC = base + commission + bonus), which includes base pay, commission, and bonuses. Sales positions receive short-term incentives through commission plans and bonuses. On the other hand, non-sales positions have starting salaries that consist of a base salary and short-term incentives through various bonus plans, which are paid out monthly, quarterly, or annually.
