What You'll Do:
The VP of Foreign Exchange Trading is responsible for the risk management of daily Foreign Exchange flows to maximize bank revenue as well as reduce risk. Includes development of junior staff to broaden desk coverage in the bank as the organization grows.
Responsible for managing day to day flow from trading desk perspective including pricing transactions from manual channels, incoming wires, forwards, swaps and more.
Keeps clients up to date via commentaries and conversations on current market conditions.
Acts in a mindful manner and in the best interests of the bank from a risk and revenue perspective to help maximize P/L on bank Foreign Exchange opportunities.
Supervises Junior Foreign Exchange Associate, passing on knowledge of day-to-day workflow as well as general Foreign Exchange and payment knowledge.
Responsible for monitoring growth of Associate while ensuring done so in a prudent fashion regarding risk to the bank.
Works within the International Services Sales team, assist with cross selling Wintrust's Foreign Exchange Products to existing and prospective clients throughout the commercial and business banking groups.
Collaborate with broader Foreign Exchange team to enhance product capabilities and identify revenue opportunities.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
7-10 years in Foreign Exchange Trading;
Experience in Commercial banking with International Products, concepts, international payments including execution of spot, forward, and swap contracts
Bachelor Dree or equivalent experience
Customer service experience with bank and corporate client bases
Experience with online payment portals
Knowledge of information systems
Strong knowledge of FX market fundamentals, trading systems and common daily workflows

Compensation:
The estimated annual salary range for this role is $71,000-$125,000, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience.
