The LATAM Senior Tax Manager will play a critical role in supporting and strengthening regional tax planning, operational execution, and compliance efforts across Ingram Micro's LATAM operations, with a particular focus on WHT strategy and risk mitigation. This role will coordinate closely with Ingram Micro's subsidiaries throughout the LATAM region and serve as a key advisor on cross-border tax structuring, operational tax planning, and tax audit readiness, including in countries with no Ingram presence. This position is uniquely positioned to work alongside the broader LATAM export team, LATAM go-to-market, commercial, operations, legal and finance country or regional teams, and global tax stakeholders to embed tax strategy into business execution and drive measurable financial impact.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA and/or Master's Degree in Taxation strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and/or in-house tax department of a large multinational corporation, with demonstrated experience in LATAM markets
  • Deep understanding of U.S. and LATAM withholding tax (WHT) regimes, including compliance, planning, and financial reporting under U.S. GAAP
  • Strong grasp of the tax aspects of cross-border transactions, deal structuring, and operational tax planning
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate technical tax concepts effectively to finance and non-finance stakeholders
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with business, legal, and operations teams to embed tax into business processes and strategic initiatives
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to drive multiple initiatives concurrently across countries and functions
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex transactions
  • High attention to detail, with a proactive and collaborative mindset
  • Experience with tax automation initiatives and process improvement is a plus
  • Proven experience working with LATAM business, countries and taxes.

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $119,600.00 - $203,300.00 per year.

The ranges above reflect the potential annual base pay across the U.S. for all roles; the applicable base pay range will depend on the candidate's primary work location, pay grade, and variable compensation plan. Individual base pay within each range depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time of hire. New hires starting base pay generally falls in the bottom half (between the minimum and midpoint) of a pay range.
