As a Director of Quality & Opex within the Spinoff of Solstice Advanced Materials, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of quality in our products and processes, as well as driving continuous improvement to enhance operational efficiency. Your primary focus will be on increasing customer satisfaction through the implementation of industry best practices using digital, lean, and Six Sigma tools. This will be done by collaborating, coaching, and mentoring ISC leaders across the world. Furthermore, you will be responsible for fostering a culture of excellence and innovation within the organization, ensuring that all team members are aligned with our strategic goals and objectives.

You will report directly to the Senior Director of ISC in AIS within the Spinoff of Solstice Advanced Materials. The role can be based in either Spokane, WA or Morris Plains, NJ, depending on your preference. Both locations offer a dynamic and supportive environment where you can leverage your expertise and drive impactful changes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Guide and manage the quality function within the Advanced Industrial Solutions (AIS) division, ensuring that all quality control processes are robust and effective.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and systems to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and processes, constantly seeking ways to enhance these methodologies.
  • Increase organizational and process effectiveness through the implementation of world-class digital tools, streamlining operations and reducing inefficiencies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste, fostering a culture of lean thinking throughout the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements, maintaining a high level of trust and satisfaction.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to drive a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging collaboration and innovation across departments.
  • Interface with commercial, ISC, and customers to resolve quality issues and ensure customer satisfaction, acting as a key liaison to address concerns and implement solutions.

The annual base salary range for this position is $170K - $200K. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in manufacturing, with a focus on quality control or operational excellence, demonstrating a deep understanding of the industry's challenges and opportunities.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively guide and manage a team, ensuring that all members are informed and motivated.
  • Proven track record of implementing processes and systems to drive continuous improvement, showcasing your ability to lead transformative initiatives.
  • Background using industry best practices such as Six Sigma, Lean, Digital tools, and Agile, highlighting your proficiency in these methodologies.
  • Strong thoughtful and problem-solving skills to identify areas for improvement and drive effective solutions, ensuring that all issues are addressed promptly and efficiently.
