The Senior Director of Human Resources will provide strategic leadership and direction for all facets of the HR Department. This executive role will oversee the planning, development, and execution of HR strategies that align with the organization's mission, culture, and long-term goals. The Senior Director will guide a high-performing HR team and serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring BAYS attracts, develops, and retains top talent while cultivating a people-centered, performance-driven environment.
We are looking for a Senior Director of Human Resources who must have:
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP highly desired
A minimum of 8-10 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 3 years in a senior HR leadership role overseeing HR strategy and operations across multiple sites or departments.
Must possess a valid state driver's license, maintain automobile insurance coverage, and have access to an automobile

Champion talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain mission-aligned, high-performing staff across all departments.
Lead the development and administration of compensation structures, incentive plans, and benefits programs.

Oversee the implementation and evaluation of employee performance and engagement systems.
Develop HR policies and procedures that reflect best practices and support organizational goals.
Represent the organization externally in HR matters, fostering partnerships with community organizations, academic institutions, and HR associations.

Lead, develop, and implement comprehensive HR strategies to support the organization's vision and strategic objectives.
Serve as a thought partner to executive leadership on organizational design, talent acquisition, employee engagement, succession planning, and culture transformation.
Oversee all HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, compensation and benefits, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and HRIS systems.
Foster a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging across all organizational levels.
Build and mentor a high-performing HR team; provide coaching, performance management, and professional development opportunities.
Serve as a strategic liaison between HR and key stakeholders, providing guidance on workforce planning and change management.
Analyze and report HR metrics to inform decision-making and evaluate the effectiveness of HR strategies and initiatives.
Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulatory requirements; proactively identify and mitigate HR-related risks.
Lead and manage employee engagement strategies, including employee surveys, retention initiatives, and recognition programs.
Oversee internal investigations and support complex employee relations issues with fairness, empathy, and adherence to legal and ethical standards.
