Role description:

Arcadis is currently looking for a Management Consultant to join our growing and dynamic Business Advisory team. In a world of disruption and unprecedent change, our Water Resilience Practice is enabling clients to successfully implement bold solutions, solving their most pressing problems. Role accountabilities:

In this role, you will build on our firm's commitment to helping our clients solve their biggest challenges by executing and delivering projects that include Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), intelligent water solutions, digital and data analytic solutions, smart utility roadmaps, strategy and innovation projects.

You will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with clients, client executives, systems integrators, partners, vendors, and internal department personnel. You will provide support for the development of pursuits and opportunities, while leading projects and tasks, which includes managing project communications with strong written, oral, and presentation skills, and overseeing the scope, schedule, budget, and project expectations. Acting as a liaison between technical personnel and functional business users within the project environment, you will work on-site with clients as needed to assist the team with day-to-day management of systems deployment, testing, and acceptance. Additionally, you will oversee and support the work of others, mentoring staff as necessary. This position requires travel up to 30% of the time for project site visits and client meetings.

Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Broad understanding of the water industry.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to structure and execute programs and build operational capabilities at scale and with demonstrable results.
  • Ability to influence a broad group of stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Excellent business judgment, problem framing and solving, project management and strong understanding of people analytics.
  • Exhibit innovative thinking, collaboration, and comfort in solving ambiguous problems.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to clearly and concisely articulate ideas, concepts, and proposals to different stakeholders.

Qualifications & Experience:

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical)
  • 1 - 3 years of progressive professional experience with a demonstrated track record of intelligent water technologies, operations, and project management.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or other advanced degree.
  • Advanced Certifications (PMP, Prosci, etc.)

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $82,000 - $115,500. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
