Transmatic Operator to join our Geneva Pipe and Precast team in OREM, UT.

ABOUT THE JOB:


The primary responsibilities of this position are to operate the Transmatic machine in our drycast department. Making sure that the machine is being properly maintained and quality products are being produced.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Use and read a tape measure accurately

·         Proper use of hand tools

·         Cut and set cages

·         Set Pallets and set to proper heights

·         Operating tip out equipment and help with tip out

·         Preform preventive maintenance as required

·         Learn mix and adjust water

·         Setup steamer and operate

·         Clean pallets and jackets

·         Air test

·         Set and place kiln cars

·         Operate winch

·         Know pipe size and class

·         Operate cage transfer

·         Finish spigot and bells

·         Regular, reliable and predictable attendance is necessary in order to perform the essential functions of this position

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

·         Hand cement finishing

·         Crane certified

·         Forklift Certified

·         Ability to Operate other drycast machines (cross training available)

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

·         High School diploma or GED would be preferred

·         One – 2 Years of using the referenced products and procedures with Fiberglass
