Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Tax Manager located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Director, US/Canada Payroll, the Tax Manager will be responsible for reviewing tax compliance. Monitoring Income Tax determinations, VAT determination, overviewing recovery of favorable balances of Federal Taxes. General tax compliance for the different type of business with in Flex. Be able to approach the Tax Authorities with queries. Overview the Statutory Compliance in location.

What a typical day looks like:

• Ensure timely compliance of Federal Taxes
• Ensure tax obligations are in order
• Overview Income Tax and Profit Sharing determination
• Coordinate the VAT refund requests
• Review letters to answer Tax Authorities Requirements
• Attend Tax Meetings and approaches with the Tax Authorities
• Constant coordination with Tax advisors.
• Follow-up on projects and new fiscal regulations
• Ensure compliance of Fiscal Regulations
• Provide guidance on tax matters, processes, controls.
• Monitor guidelines on Federal Taxes
• Analyzed reports impacting Tax obligations.
• Establish objectives and assignments
• Implement team work, appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain qualified and motivated workforce.
• Be able to understand General Accounting Principles
• Coordinate with other areas for specific cases
• Interact and overview Financial Auditors reviews and Statutory reports
• General Trade compliance background.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• 10+ years of related experience
• Finance/Payroll Background
• Experience working for a global enterprise
• Tax management experience
• Federal and state tax knowledge
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
