Senior Logistics Distribution Center Manager (Finance)



As a Senior Logistics Distribution Center Manager here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for leading and optimizing the logistics and distribution operations at our El Paso Distribution Center for Honeywell Intelligrated. You will develop and implement advanced strategies to enhance supply chain processes, improve operational efficiency, and ensure timely delivery of products to our customers.

You will report directly to our Senior Director of Logistics and Operational Excellence and you'll work out of our Socorro, TX location on a On-site work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our business by managing logistics operations to meet customer demands and enhance service levels. You will play a critical role in ensuring the effective management of inventory, transportation, and distribution processes while maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Your leadership and strategic decision-making skills will be essential in driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management and people management in including management of Supervisors.
  • Strong knowledge of logistics operations and best practices.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence and achieving business objectives.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience with inventory management systems and logistics software.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in a logistics or distribution environment.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and ability to manage budgets effectively.
  • Experience with implementing and managing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus.

  • Manage staff of 50+ employees in a growing operation
  • Lead and manage logistics operations to ensure efficient and timely distribution of products.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize supply chain processes and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety throughout the distribution center.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions to address any deviations from targets.
  • Manage the logistics budget and resources effectively to achieve financial goals.
