Field Searcher/Title Abstractor (Legal)

* Title abstracting chain of title deeds, mortgages, liens, judgments, easements, restrictions, plats, assessment, tax data, court documents and other public record information via computer data indexes onsite at various County courthouses throughout eastern, southern and central Missouri and via online searching.
* Review and quality control of all abstracted information to verify it meets the standards of our company's and clients' requirements. This would involve some desktop searching through various online county sources and external databases. This positon is a FIELD positon with heavy driving time, but constant communication with our main St. Louis office is crucial. Requirements include:
* Prior title/ abstracting/mortgage experience strongly recommended
* Valid US Drivers License
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
* Superior time management and organizational skills
* Ability to work with laptop, scanner and imaging technology
* Detail oriented, efficient and thorough researching ability
* Adequate computer skills and functionality
* Strong communication and work ethic
* Company vehicle provided/mileage reimbursement for any work performed at onsite county locations
