Job Description
Prepares, seasons, and cooks food. Carves portions of meat, fish, or fowl for individual servings. May plan menus and estimate required food quantities, labor, and overhead costs. May lead the work of kitchen assistants in preparing, cooking, and storing food, as well as in maintaining kitchen and storage facilities in sanitary condition. Experience and Education: Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Typically requires a high school diploma and 0 to 2 years of experience. Reports to: Typically reports to a department head or manager. Competencies: Customer/client orientation. Oral communication skills. Manual dexterity. Detail oriented.

Pay Range
$30.07 per hour: Base pay offered may vary depending on various factors including but not limited to job related knowledge, skills and job specific experience/overall experience.
