Eng Supp Specialist II (Finance)



As a Engineering Support Specialist II here at Honeywell, you will work with a team of engineers and technicians to support non-destructive test engineering inspection on a variety of Honeywell products both mechanical and electrical in nature. Primary responsibilities will be in an NDT lab environment, using various NDT techniques to inspect fielded, test, R&D, and production hardware. Aspects of the job include planning, coordinating, and communicating (verbal and written) NDT results to a broad customer base.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, Arizona location on a hybrid work schedule.

In this role, you will impact the success of our engineering operations by providing exceptional technical support, resolving complex issues, and contributing to the continuous improvement of processes.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • At least 5 years' experience in 1 or more Non Destructive Test techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including proposal, presentation and reporting skills)
  • Strong team working skills. Able to work in a variety of cross-functional team roles
  • Motivated self starter

WE VALUE
  • Level II Certified in at least one of the following NDT techniques: Ultrasonic, Eddy Current, X-ray (film and/or digital), FPI, or MPI.
  • Evidence of formal training, experience and certification

  • Hands-on operation of Computed Tomography equipment and reconstruction/manipulation of CT data.
  • Inspection of fielded, test, R&D, and production hardware using various NDT techniques
  • Provide support to Project and Design groups for new and existing programs
  • Maintaining current NDT equipment
  • Assist in training personnel for certification purposes
