The territory for this position will be the entire United States. This job is based in Dallas, TX, however, remote work in other locations in the territory, ideally near a major metropolitan airport, will be considered.

The targeted cash compensation package (Base, Commissions and Bonus) for this position is between $250,000 to $325,000. There is potential to exceed this amount based on experience and performance in the role. In addition to a generous 401k program, Arthrex contributes to a non-qualified retirement plan funded entirely by Arthrex on your behalf after one year of employment.

Arthrex is actively searching for a Director of Orthobiologics(OB) Sales to manage and lead our initiatives within our biologics business throughout the US. Orthobiologics continues to be an exciting, high growth area for Arthrex as we provide physicians and their patients market leading solutions through a broad and diverse portfolio. The successful candidate will lead our Orthobiologics sales, build relationships with key customers, sales agencies, and internal departments while driving sales strategies, hitting sales goals, and continuing market growth. Excellent interpersonal, presentation and leadership skills in addition to seven years or more of related experience and a bachelor's degree are essential for this position. Main Objective:

The Director of Orthobiologic Sales is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the growth, prioritization, and execution of Arthrex's OB portfolio across the United States. This role leads the OB sales strategy, provides oversight of regional OB sales leadership, and partners with cross-divisional stakeholders to maximize product adoption and revenue performance. The Director develops national OB sales initiatives, ensures alignment across independent agencies, and fosters key relationships with surgeons, administrators, and academic centers. This role collaborates closely with Product Development, Medical Education, Marketing, and Sales Operations to optimize market strategy, support field execution, and influence long-term planning for the OB business.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Sales Leadership

  • Define and implement national OB sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Provide executive oversight to regional OB sales leaders, ensuring effective field prioritization, agency support, and revenue attainment.
  • Drive alignment of OB initiatives across all product verticals, including Foot & Ankle, Sports Medicine, Spine, Arthroplasty, Imaging & Resection, and Trauma.

Business Development & Market Growth

  • Identify and capitalize on high-impact growth opportunities with key accounts and academic centers.
  • Develop strategic partnerships with top-tier surgeons and institutions to enhance product utilization and market expansion.
  • Oversee planning and execution of initiatives to drive product launch success and sustained sales performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary liaison between OB Sales, Product Development, and Medical Education to guide clinical messaging, training strategy, and market feedback.
  • Collaborate with Sales Intelligence and Sales Operations to establish and track quota planning, performance metrics, and competitive positioning.

Leadership & Influence

  • Mentor and develop regional OB sales leaders, fostering a high-performance culture across the national field organization.
  • Represent OB sales priorities with executive leadership, contributing to annual planning and long-term business strategy.

Field Execution & National Support

  • Champion high-impact educational initiatives, including national/regional conferences, VIP labs, and cadaveric training programs.
  • Maintain visibility into competitive trends, market dynamics, and evolving customer needs to inform commercial strategy.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive sales leadership experience in orthopedics or biologics is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of people leadership required.
  • Proven success leading national or regional sales teams in a complex, matrixed environment.
  • Experience with cross-functional collaboration across product development, education, and marketing teams.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Strategic thinker with strong business acumen and the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
  • Expert in orthopedic and biologic product categories, including procedural knowledge and competitive landscape.
  • Excellent executive communication, relationship-building, and leadership skills.
  • Must be able to travel up to 75%, including regular presence at Arthrex's Naples, FL headquarters is required.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

  • Microsoft Office, PC and various specialized software. Cognos experience a plus.
