Job Definition:

We are seeking Sr Quality Program Manager who will be managing quality initiatives across Hybrid Cloud portfolio and thrives on a challenging and fast-paced environment.

The Sr Quality Program Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing quality programs and processes to ensure operational excellence and product/service quality. This role requires proficiency in quality management systems, data analysis, continuous improvement methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration. The Quality Program Manager works closely with stakeholders across the organization to drive quality initiatives and deliver exceptional results. Work with engineering management to identify and improve process and program efficiencies. 

Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent.  Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization.

Responsibilities: 

  • Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for a Global Business Unit.
  • Develop and maintain quality policies, procedures, and documentation. Design, implement, and manage quality assurance programs aligned with company goals and industry standards. Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives to improve processes, systems, and product/service quality. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive corrective actions.
  • Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.
  • Influences innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities in the Global Operations organizations.
  • Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for quality standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.
  • Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members
  • Work with teams across BUs (e.g., engineering, customer support, field, sales, product mgmt., supply chain) to align quality standards and initiatives.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on quality-related processes and best practices. Act as a liaison between management and operational teams to ensure quality goals are communicated and achieved.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret data to assess quality performance. Create detailed reports and dashboards to track progress and communicate findings to stakeholders. Present recommendations and action plans based on data insights.

Education and Experience Required: 

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in a Technical Program Management role or Quality Management, Lean/Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent
  • Experience focusing on Customer Found Issue prioritizations, running virtual teams to resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Experience managing software quality for improving customer experience

Knowledge and Skills: 

  • Experience with storage, networking, virtualization, & complex system solutions is preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.

The expected salary/wage range for a U.S.-based hire filling this position is provided below. Actual offer may vary from this range based upon geographic location, work experience, education/training, and/or skill level. If this is a sales role, then the listed salary range reflects combined base salary and target-level sales compensation pay. If this is a non-sales role, then the listed salary range reflects base salary only. Variable incentives may also be offered. USD Annual Salary: $107,000.00 - $204,000.00
