Sr Advanced Systems Engineer (Finance)

The annual base salary range for this position is $ 118,000 - -$ 148,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform numeric evaluation of product design, integration, and qualification activities for new inertial navigation products for internal R&D and customer funded programs
  • Evaluate sensor & system performance - ex: reading and understanding Root Alan Variance (RAV)
  • Lead trade studies and issue resolution (e.g. FMEA, RCCA) activities
  • Prepare, review, approve, and present technical documentation and deliverables to internal and external customers
  • Function as a technical focal with internal customers supporting new product development and communicating technical status
  • Execute in a cross-functional team setting (interfacing with mechanical, electrical, software, test, etc.)
  • Manage internal stakeholders and their needs
  • Lead system design team meetings (SRR, PDR, TRR, CDR, FCA/PCA, TIMs) with internal and external customers
  • Perform customer flow-down requirement analysis, feasibility assessment, technical solution development
  • Create system documents development, including but not limited to system-level requirements, Interface Control Document, Hardware Requirements Specification, Performance Verification Test Plan Procedure, Certification documents

Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.As a Sr Advanced Systems Engr here at Honeywell, you will lead a team of systems engineers in designing, developing, and delivering advanced systems. You will shape technological advancements and manage project portfolios. You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Redmond, WA location on a Hybrid work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
  • Due to export controls and ITAR products, candidate must be a US citizen and have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance
  • 7+ years' experience in a related field

  • Experience with DOORS

  • Working knowledge of software development as an engineering discipline, including some programming skills
  • Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
