Senior Quality Assurance Analyst/Technical Writer (Finance)

Tetra Tech AMT is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst/ Technical Writer

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develop and implement quality control methodologies to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards, guidelines, and procedures in a large computer-based organization
• Develop and define major and minor characteristics of quality including quality metrics and scoring parameters and determines requisite quality control resources
• Establish and maintain a process for evaluating hardware, software, and associated documentation and/or assists in the evaluation
• Conduct and/or participate in formal and informal reviews at pre-determined points throughout the development life cycle
• The candidate is involved in writing or editing technical materials such as:
  • Reports of research findings
  • Scientific or technical documents, articles, news releases, and periodicals
  • Regulations in technical areas
  • Technical manuals, specifications, brochures, and pamphlets
  • Speeches or contract letters on scientific or technical subjects
• The work involves the development of information and analysis to select and present information on navigation and landing systems in a form and at a level suitable for the intended audience

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in systems engineering/integration disciplines
• Knowledge of requirements analysis and traceability, engineering analyses related to system reliability, availability, and maintainability for safety-critical systems, system performance monitoring using models or simulators, operation testing and analysis, human factors, configuration management
• Work experience in writing and reviewing requirements documents, specifications, NAS/engineering change proposal, directives, and technical reports
• Excellent technical writing skills
• Familiarity with the Government Contracts Letter process preferred
