Manager, Technology (Finance)
Job Responsibilities:
• Establishes relationships among key stakeholders and acts as a liaison during the design, management and implementation of business information system and process changes.
• Coordinates with IT project teams to communicate business priorities, translate business requirements into technical requirements and drive implementation of appropriate solutions.
• Researches, defines, documents and translates business needs and objectives into system requirements that can be converted into applications, with a focus on meeting cost, quality and
iterative value delivery standards.
• Facilitates regular requirement gathering and design sessions with user community and communicates expectations to the development team.
• Negotiates innovative business solutions that satisfy customer needs, are consistent with architectural guidelines, and conform to security standards.
• Lead QA and User Acceptance testing strategy with the business.
• Provides consultative support on business-led technology initiatives.
• Lead Production Deployment & assist the Business during their Implementation Verification process.
• Provide Postproduction support and drive resolutions to completion.
• Mentor a Team of Analysts/Dev/QA in their work, guiding their strategy to efficiently deliver.
Job Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field or a related discipline , plus five (5) years of progressive experience in any occupation which includes the required experience and skills .
Experience must include:
5 years of experience in all aspects of designing and constructing business capabilities, value streams, business processes, and organizational structures;
5 years of experience evaluating options and implementing solutions to support decisions to complex business processes;
5 years of experience with system engineering, object-oriented design, information risk and security guidelines, and architecture standards;
3 years of experience in API analysis using tools such as Postman or equivalent;
3 years of experience acting as a product owner in a high paced agile environment; and
3 years of experience leading testing efforts for applications and integrations: End-to-End testing, Regression Testing, System, Integration testing.
Travel requirement: 5% domestic travel required.
Will supervise 2 employees.
