Academic Program Support Specialist (part-time) (Finance)



The Health Informatics program is seeking a part-time Academic Program Support Specialist. The Academic Program Support Specialist will perform a wide variety of specialized administrative work in program implementation related to the online delivery of our HIMSS program. Minimum :
  • This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with four years of experience in office or administrative positions.
  • Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Preferred :
  • Successful completion of the HIMSS program with top academic standing

FLSB1310 Equivalency:
4 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for bachelor's degree.
6 years of directly relevant experience may be substituted for master's degree.

This position may be subject to a Level 1 or Level 2 criminal background check.

  • Provides support for instruction through administration of course syllabi, class materials, exams, course evaluations, processing course schedules, maintaining course inventory, etc.

  • Performs other administrative duties as assigned in support of the academic mission of the department.
