Primary Accountabilities (Essential Duties)
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
Load/unload flatbed trucks and trailers, van body trailers, and reefer trailers. Responsible for the safety and efficiency of all job tasks.
Maintain organized inventory.
Responsible for quality on pick and pack orders according to work orders and schedules.
Responsible for following all aspects of SOPs to ensure work is being done accurately and efficiently.
Implement and assist process improvements.
Participate in LEAN initiative and engage Six Sigma tools for process improvements.
Work closely w/ other departments to process/ship orders on time.
Produce, verify, and track certification for material, hardware, and galvanizing.
Create supporting documents for truckload (TL) and less than truckload (LTL) shipments using Epicor and Fed-Ex systems.
Documenting loads using handheld cameras and load sheets.
In addition to the accountabilities listed above, individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including work in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods or otherwise to balance the workload.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 Years Manufacturing experience (heavy machinery preferred)
1 Years Shipping and Receiving experience
1 Years of basic data entry into an ERP computer data entry system
High school degree or equivalent

Technical Requirements:
Forklift certification
Microsoft Office products
Physical Requirements:
Able to squat, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance
Able to operate equipment, including forklifts, safely and able to understand and follow safety protocols
Able to stand for up to 10 hours per day and walk for extended periods of time
Able to work in dynamic, non-climate controlled facility with fluctuation in temperature
