Customer Insights Manager (Education)

The Category Insights Manager is responsible for supporting sales' efforts.

Responsibilities:

  • Directly support Director- Customer Insight with team initiatives through insights, productivity tools and thought leadership to drive team success.

  • Create actionable insights, new item presentations and sales calls support to further B&G sales initiatives with the assigned sales teams.

  • Manage data integrity and serve as key contact/SME for any retailer specific data portals that B&G has access. Manage any Attribute files available to ensure proper PPGs and Category views are correct and appropriate for B&G analysis.

  • Support HQ teams on retailer-specific insights needs.

  • Be customer-facing where applicable, bringing key insights to assigned retailers and raise B&G standing within that retailer as a thought-leader.

  • Work closely with any broker-supplied insight teams supporting B&G sales teams, including: Talent evaluation, Coaching, and Work flow optimization.

  • The Customer Insights Manager reports directly to the Director- Customer Insights.

Experience, Skills, Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 3-5 years experience in a similar role required

  • Microsoft Office, with strong skills in PowerPoint and Excel required

  • Syndicated data knowledge: AC Nielsen, IRI, Numerator required

  • Strong skill set creating impactful, visually engaging, story-led sales stories

  • Confident presenting skills with the ability to relay data-driven insights to both retailer and senior leadership within B&G.

Compensation:

Base Pay Range:

$101,897-$169,829

Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to; role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity. Please keep in mind that we consider internal pay equity and hiring at the maximum of the salary range uncommon.
