CDL B DELIVERY DRIVER & WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE (Transportation)

This is a full-time position working approximately 40 hours per week. Must have weekend availability.

- This position is designed and intended to be performed in Litchfield, CT.
PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Customer deliveries
- Loading and unloading bagged feeds and related products to our customers, both commercial and private
- Maintain vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition, keeping accurate driver logs, and operating the vehicle according to local, state and federal laws
- Operate a hand truck and a fork truck
- Operate all equipment and vehicle in a safe manner and obey all safety rules
- Receive, accurately load and rotate product
- Keep warehouse and loading areas neat and clean
- Other duties as assigned by Store Management
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be able to lift 55 lbs. to a height of 50 inches
- Clean driving record
- Valid driver's license
- Safely operate a large box truck with weight of 33,000 lbs, being physically qualified, ensuring compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including holding a valid CDL Class B License and a Medical Certification Card, and otherwise not be disqualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle
- Have a solid work history
- Able to work independently as well as with others
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen
