What you will enjoy doing*

  • In this role, you will conduct the bulk of work in for the form of a research project
  • You will carry out the project, which will be in the proof-of-concept phase and require design, planning and execution of lab experiments to prepare, characterize, and performance test material candidates for a commercial separation process
  • The internship is a paid position with the work to be completed during normal business hours, 40 hours per week, with a duration of approximately 3 months
  • The internship will provide you with exposure to departments beyond Adsorption Materials to provide the successful candidate with an overview of different career paths at Linde

  • The successful candidate will be in a PhD program in a chemistry or a related discipline and have completed at least 3 years of the program, prior to the internship
  • The Successful candidate will have exceptional technical and leadership skills and the ability to apply those skills effectively in an industrial environment
  • The position also calls for highly creative individuals with initiative and drive, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a track record of personal accountability and success throughout their academic and work career(s)
  • Ability to work safely in a chemistry lab is essential
